I ordered the output shaft with cardanic joint from MakTrans after searching for this part exhaustively with no luck. I found it on their website and decided to pull the trigger. I completed the purchase using paypal without a problem and received tracking info promptly. I was able to track the part from their doorstep to mine without issues. I receive the part in about a week, and inspected it. The part was new, extremely well made, it looked and measured out exactly the same as the old one. Installed the gear and test drove without problems. Part works flawlessly! I recommend purchasing this part from MakTrans to anyone that is trying to repair their piece of junk 722.9 4matic transmission. This cost of this part with shipping is very competitive, and for what you are spending you get a brand new shiny gear instead of a used worn out gear from a dismantler.

Very poor quality, leaks several times in several places! I don't recommend it to anyone, it was just a waste of money for me!
